MOTM kicks off with a bang!

Our Music on the Mountain series kicked off last Thursday with a slammin' performance by The Mystix. Fusing elements of Rock and Country brought the Wachusett Mountain skiers inside for some Amstel Light and great music. The event was M.C.ed by yours truly (1.5) and co-hosted by Amanda who has graced us with her presence once again while on winter break. Amstel Light was on the scene buying beer for any legal patrons and the crowd was taking full advantage of it. If this is a sign of what the rest of our MOTM events will be like, I highly encourage everyone to come out and meet the face of 'BOS...the Sreet Team. Free Beer, 'BOS gear, and music...what else could you ask for? See you on the slopes!

Into the garbage chute, fly boy!

Kristen and 1.5 here, hanging out in the secret 'BOS hideaway. We just got back from The Boca Bar where we and Budweiser were hanging out giving fans 'BOS swag. The bar was packed from wall to wall with 'BOS listeners who were fortunate enough to leave with a Studio 7 cd and many other goodies. Budweiser Select drinkers also walked away with tee-shirts, coosy's, and lanyards. See you next time.

ZUMIX!

Hello,
We are back in the 'BOS tree house after a riveting performance by ZUMIX at the Children's Museum. Zumix is a youth program where children get to experience playing live music for an audience. The band plays an hour set filled with numerous standards such as Imagine and Johnny Be Good. We were also giving out Organic Apple Juice to all the Zumix and 'BOS fans.

Greatest Bar...Greatest station!

Chris and 1.5 here coming at you from the 'BOS hideout. We just got back from the Greatest Bar where we and Budweiser teamed up for the Bruce Springsteen concert and made one lady very happy. The 4 level bar was jam packed with people decked from head to toe in Springsteen paraphernalia. We raffled off Budweiser swag and a pair of tickets to the concert. Pre-gaming concert goers were fortunate enough to get a free copy of Studio 7 recordings.

B.B. is the King!

1.5 and Bex reporting from the happiest place on Earth....'BOS headquarters. We just got back from the B.B. King concert which was held at the Lowell Auditorium. Despite the near freezing temperatures fans showed up hours in advance and waited patiently outside. Our very own Holly Harris greeted people as they walked in. Those lucky B.B. and 'BOS fans were fortunate enough to get in early and receive the usual swag...CDs, keychains, and Frisbees. After spending $30 on a concert t-shirt fans were more than happy to get something free from the happy people at 'BOS. B.B. King took the stage at 8:00 and rocked the audience with steller performances of classic hits such as Sweet Little Angel, Please Love Me, and Worry Worry.

Pop Warner...Game Day

Jason and 1.5 here in the Promotions Office. We just got back from an exciting time in Arlington. We teamed up with our pals at Papa Ginos' and supported some great local football. Jason announced all the teams and got the crowd hooting and hollering for some wonderful Sunday morning games. We were handing out the usual 'BOS swag and special coupons for Papa Ginos' new X-Large pizza. Despite the chilly winds, everyone stuck out the games and hung with the coolest street team around....'BOS! Until next time.

The Man isn't Plain but He is From Them...

1.5 here, hanging out alone....dry those tears! 1.5 is all man and likes his alone time every now and then. I was fortunate enough to work the screening of MAN FROM THE PLAINS, which is an amazing movie about Jimmy Carter. I and the V.I.P.s lived it up tonight while becoming educated on a little U.S. history. Here is the plot... "Man From Plains is an intimate, surprising encounter with President Jimmy Carter. Following the path of Mr. Carter's recent controversial book tour for Palestine Peace Not Apartheid, Academy Award© - winning director Jonthan Demme reveals a complex individual who, with the gusto and determination of a youngster, criss-crosses the country to get his message across, even as that message creates a media onslaught in which his credibility and judgment are called into question. Man From Plains explores both the private and public sides of Jimmy Carter, whose intense sense of justice compels him to pursue, with undiminished energy and hope, his lifelong and deeply spiritual vision of reconciliation and peace."* With that being said.
